Canna-Hub, a California-based real estate development and property management company for the cannabis industry, today announced plans to hold a groundbreaking ceremony in Mendota, California for the opening of its business park location designed, zoned and licensed for cannabis companies. The ceremony will take place on Thursday, July 26th at 4 p.m. PST at 1269 Marie Street.
Once complete, the new facility will be approximately 100,000 square feet on 16 acres of property that will house nine industrial condos and hold nine operating companies. The company has multiple companies pre-leased including renowned cannabis pioneer Cresco Labs, a leading innovator developing professional-grade cannabis products across the country.
Expected speakers at the ground breaking include Canna-Hub CEO and Founder Tim McGraw and a Mendota city council member. The company’s Director of Operations, Fernando Russo, will also make a few closing remarks in Spanish. Notable guests include additional city council members, local law enforcement and representatives from Cresco Labs.
“As America’s first cannabis business park constructed in the largest legalized cannabis market in the world, Canna-Hub believes that this expansion will create new opportunities for cannabis businesses and shape the way the cannabis industry operates in the future,” said Canna-Hub CEO and Founder Tim McGraw. “By leveraging our industry experience and relationships, Canna-Hub has been able to bring properly zoned and licensed properties to sophisticated operators from California and other regulated states with significant cost savings while offering ancillary services from banking to picks and shovels.”
The Canna-Hub model is designed after traditional commercial development projects but exclusively for the legal cannabis industry. The business community, or “canna-hub,” accommodates numerous license types and is designed to house operators in various areas across the industry. Canna-Hub offers individual cannabis licensees the ability to purchase or lease either existing industrial space that has been retrofitted for cannabis operations, or build to suit opportunities for newly constructed facilities that are properly sized and ready-to-build, with all necessary infrastructure in place, including state-of-the-art perimeter security.
Canna-Hub’s other business park is located in the city of Williams, California. Both locations have received local city zoning and authorization for indoor cultivation, greenhouses, nurseries, volatile and non-volatile manufacturing, tissue culture labs, third-party testing labs, distribution and transport.
